SOFIX rises for a ninth day to 1,733 points; Eurohold eyes Frankfurt listing
The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's main index rose 1.09% to 1,733.34 points. Eurohold Bulgaria gained 4.81% to €2.18 and announced plans to list its shares in Frankfurt.
All indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) in Sofia rose on Wednesday. SOFIX, the main index of key shares, gained 1.09% to 1,733.34 points. According to BTA, it was the ninth straight session of gains. During the day the index moved between 1,703.01 and 1,741.88 points. It is up 49.89% since the start of the year (infostock.bg).
BGBX40 (the 40 most traded shares) rose 1.08% to 271.47 points, BGTR30 1.32% to 1,220.95 and BGREIT (property funds) 0.06% to 245.50. Main market turnover was €2.86 million. First Investment Bank (Fibank) was the most traded share at €213,705; it fell 3.02% to €4.50.
Energy holding Eurohold Bulgaria (owner of the Elektrohold group and Solars Energy) rose 4.81% to €2.18 in 47 trades. After the close it said it is starting the process to list 520.94 million shares in the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It gave no date.
Fuel station chain Petrol fell 16.67% to €0.300. Its last trade was on 28 Oct at 14:17, on very small volume (infostock.bg).
