Vishay invertirá en su fábrica de chips de Itzehoe: hasta 250 empleos nuevos
La economía alemana creció un 0,2 % en el tercer trimestre. La inflación bajó al 2,8 % y hay 2,955 millones de desempleados. En Turingia empieza la obra de un hospital con 250 millones de euros estatales.
Itzehoe (Schleswig-Holstein): El fabricante de semiconductores Vishay anuncia una gran inversión en su planta alemana. La empresa habla de una «cifra alta de cientos de millones de euros», mientras que un diputado de la CDU menciona cerca de 1.000 millones de euros. El Gobierno federal y el estado federado apoyan el proyecto con unos 215 millones de euros. Se prevé la creación de hasta 250 nuevos empleos (dpa-AFX, 30.10.).
Turingia: En el distrito de Eichsfeld ha comenzado la construcción de un nuevo hospital; el estado lo financia con unos 250 millones de euros (Gotha-Aktuell, 30.10.). En Steinhagen (Renania del Norte-Westfalia), Schaeffler desmantela las máquinas tras el fin de la producción; 170 empleados pasan a una sociedad de transferencia (Haller Kreisblatt, 30.10.).
Los datos coyunturales: el producto interior bruto (PIB) aumentó un 0,2 % en el tercer trimestre respecto al anterior (Destatis). La inflación bajó en octubre al 2,8 %, frente al 3,3 % de septiembre; la energía costó un 12,2 % más que hace un año. Había 2,955 millones de desempleados (tasa del 6,3 %): 40.000 menos que en septiembre, pero 44.000 más que hace un año. Desestacionalizado, la cifra subió en 4.000 (Agencia Federal de Empleo, 30.10.).
La suma de la tabla asciende a 403 millones de euros y los recortes cuantificados a 560 puestos (cálculo propio; los 4.800 millones de euros de Amazon del 20.10. quedan fuera del periodo y Vishay no está incluida por falta de una cifra exacta).
